Recipe: Charcuterie Board

Hosting a party or looking for a simple dinner? Put together a charcuterie board, full of cheese, meat, nuts, and dried fruit.

Since spring of 2022, we’ve been working with two other markets–Edinboro Market and the Meadville Market House–to better distribute local food throughout our region. We help each other source different products through a weekly route, and promote one another and the foods we all sell.

As part of that project, we had Kitchen and Kay (@kitchenandkay on Instagram) take ingredients available at all three markets and make recipes for us to share, like this charcuterie board.

There are so many awesome local ingredients that go great on charcuterie boards. At Core Goods, we have more than 15 cheeses, a variety of nuts and dried fruit, beef sticks, mustards and jams, and more. You can pick and choose items to use on your board based on your preference and what you think looks good. There are so many options and so many ways you can make it.

When shopping for your holiday ingredients, we encourage you to choose local. Whether it’s direct from the farm or from one of our markets. Have fun making your board!
