Featured Item: Medjool Dates

With a rich, caramel-like flavor and a soft, chewy texture, medjool dates are delicious on their own or when added to recipes.

Medjool dates are grow on date palm trees in warm climates, and are said to be native to Morocco. They are now grown around the world, including California, Arizona, and Florida. At Core Goods, ours come from California.

Did you know dates are technically a fresh fruit? They are harvested, cleaned, and sorted, and don’t undergo any processing (they’re never physically or chemically dried), which is why they can be found in the produce section at stores (learn more).

Dates are full of fiber, vitamins, and minerals, and are known to provide energy, boost brain health, prevent heart disease, and much more (learn more).

Because dates are a fruit and contain no other ingredients, they can be a great substitute for sugar in recipes. They are also delicious in savory meals, like bacon-wrapped dates!
