Featured Item: Dried Cranberries

When dried, this tart berry is a sweet addition to desserts, snacks, and meals.

Dried cranberries are one of our most popular dried fruits, especially during fall and Christmas time. They are often added to trail mixes and eaten as a snack, but are also great when added to baked goods, oatmeal, salads, and more.

Because they are naturally a very tart fruit, dried cranberries often come with added sugar. Currently our cranberries at Core Goods have sugar, but we are working to find an unsweetened alternative.

When you can incorporate fresh cranberries into your meals, we definitely recommend it, although dried cranberries can be easier to use and have a longer shelf life. They also have fiber and antioxidants (although not as much as the fresh version).

Dried fruit is a great ingredient or snack, but we always recommend eating it in moderation!
